We offer next day deliveries, but we are always on hand to fulfil last minute requests. For roll on-off containers and larger jobs we typically need 24–48 hours' notice.
Construction and demolition waste and general waste are accepted, along with timber, metals, plastics, and garden waste. We cannot accept hazardous materials including asbestos, chemicals, paint, gas cylinders, tyres, or electrical items containing refrigerants. Call us if you're unsure about a specific material.
Yes — if the skip will sit on a public highway, pavement or verge, you need a permit from your local council. We can arrange this for you; just let us know when booking. Skips on private land (driveways, car parks) don't require a permit.
A Waste Transfer Note (WTN) is a legal document required under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 every time waste changes hands. We issue a WTN for every collection, which satisfies your duty of care and protects you in the event of an audit or enforcement check.
Skips (4–16 yard) are dropped and left on site for you to fill at your own pace — ideal for most commercial and construction jobs. Roll on-off (RORO) containers are much larger (20–40 yard) and suited to high-volume sites producing continuous waste. The same driver can swap out a full container for an empty one, keeping your site operational.
Our Wait & Load service is perfect for sites where waste is ready, space is limited or there are time-sensitive projects. Our vehicle arrives with a container, and waits whilst your team loads it. No containers left on site.
We process waste through our MRF facility in Belvedere, which diverts 100% of material from landfill, through separation and also Energy from Waste (EfW) facilities for residual/remaining waste. We have the ability to provide all customers with full breakdowns of waste and reporting via our online waste portal. Great for those who have project, ESG or sustainability reporting requirements.
Westminster Waste holds FORS Gold accreditation and this demonstrates that we operate responsibly, professionally and to the highest recognised industry standards as set out by the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme. We also hold Earned Recognition status with the Department for Transport (DfT).
