The lifeblood of the industry. Support independent artists.
Grassroots musicians are the independent creators writing, recording, and performing without the backing of major corporate labels. They are the innovators and the risk-takers — the ones who play a 50-cap venue tonight and a festival stage tomorrow.
They are currently closing at an alarming rate. Without these spaces, artists have nowhere to hone their craft, and fans lose their best chance to experience live music affordably. Every closure is a cultural loss.
